Biofeedback – “Emotional Healing”

Dr. Jesse Ross explains Biofeedback & Emotional Healing

“In addition to merely chiropractic, we have other therapies, therapies that I pulled together that is like a formula.

When I look back on the experiences I’ve had with each of my family members, the ones I’ve been fortunate enough to assist. I see how the impact of not only emotions and how it has impacted how their body runs based on how they perceive and react to the world operating certain systems more than others based on their perception. Because remember, every organ and every system emphasizes different emotions. That way you can feel stuff.

So really to break it down, think about it like this. Every organ has a spectrum of emotions that it would up or down regulate itself to. So whenever we’ve witness the healing of people from terminal to the common cold, we know that just loved ones can sooth them with a patch of information that allows them to be more comfortable. Remember, pain itself is simultaneous with emotions and look at what we’re capable of doing for each other.

So what I’ve incorporated into my practice is a biofeedback system that addresses this in the most efficient way that I’ve researched. It’s almost like we were able to go in there and grab loops of disturbed flight or flight reflexes and neutralize them like a specific charge. So in doing that, we can neutralize the reaction that looks like a symptom of a disease.

The goal is not to remove the symptom as much as the perception of danger that drives what looks like a dangerous symptom, which is actually only the adaptation to a stress.

We have literally been taught to fear all or most all of our symptom. When we’re under emotional, physical or chemical stress your nervous system is monitoring all the fluid and air passageways within your body. It’s also monitoring the complete environment with your sensory on your skin and all your outside or exterior sensors. So as your body is experiencing outside stimuli, then as you process this, your brain is telling you with your sensors, how do things feel? We’re talking about feelings here.

So that means the things that you feel you’re literally going to assign an emotional value and the emotional value isn’t going to be one emotion or the other it’s going to be a spectrum like a long VIN number, because all emotions are on all the time. So the reason why I would employ biofeedback and with the type of biofeedback I’ve chosen is because we’re looking for fight or flight signals that looks like a symptom that’s a part of a category when in biology between a brain cell and the tissue cell, when you receive a stimulus, the equal and opposite reaction will be a physical, emotional or chemical response. That is called an adaptation, not a scary symptom.

So my point with you is this. When we employ the biofeedback it’s to calm down the perception of danger or fight or flight, because if we do, it’s really interesting, like you soothing your child or spouse after they received a trauma like emotions and you give them this patch of information out of love. And what happens to them? They stop jerking around, they stop crying, they feel soothed, then they tell you they’re OK. And what were they missing? Simply the information and love from your heart and your mouth.

See, in biofeedback, we’re able to, in a sense, identify loops of software that can be neutralized the same way they were introduced. And by doing so, we can give you the perception of safety, reducing the necessity for a physical defense mechanism that looks like a symptom and a condition when actually it was simply your body doing what it does in biology and all species. It’s called adaptation, not sick.”
